There is no shortage of stories for the movie’s creative team to draw from. But, the ‘Fantastic Four’ have such a rich history across 60 years of Marvel Comics. When does ‘Fantastic Four’ Release? Update – :Īs a result of scheduling changes (see the “Latest News” section of this article for more information), ‘Fantastic Four’ has been moved from its originally announced release date of 8th November 2024 to its new release date of 14th February 2025. However no official casting, or story synopsis for the movie were discussed during the panel. Marvel Studios have announced at the Disney D23 event today that Matt Shankman (The Good Wife, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Wanda Vision) is going to be directing the movie. This new release date for ‘Blade’ was originally scheduled as the release date for the recently announced ‘Deadpool 3’, which has now had to move to Fantastic Four’s original release date of 8th November 2024, thus pushing ‘Fantastic Four’ to this new release date of 14th February 2025. This move in release date comes as a result of Marvel Studio’s planned ‘Blade’ movie starring Mahershala Ali in the titular role moving from its previously announced planned release date of 3rd November 2023 to 6th September 2024 due to the delay in production on the movie because of director, Bassim Tariq’s, departure from the production. The Walt Disney Company have officially confirmed that their planned ‘Fantastic Four’ movie has been moved from it’s originally announced release date of 8th November 2024 to its new release date of 14th February 2025.
As fans have been waiting eagerly to see the “First Family of Marvel” join the MCU at long last and interact with the iconic heroes and villains from their own comics who are already key parts of the MCU, such as ‘ Black Panther‘, ‘The Skrulls’, ‘Spider-Man’, and ‘The Avengers’. The ‘Fantastic Four’ movie is finally coming to the MCU and excitement for it is already high.
